Our founder attended to EBAN's  "Scaleup for Europe" conference in Porto. The motto of the event can be found in a true saying "If you can't scale it, don't nail it."
There are a lot lessons on how good ideas fail if they can not scale up. This event showed once again that all entreprenuers should pay enough attention to understand how they can scale up their business ideas. Tracking is a must for every venture to be able to grow and sustain their operations and growth. A picture of our founder and Vice President of EBAN, Mr. Baybars Altuntas.

One of the biggest risk for startups is not being able to raise enough funds and perish in the valley of death. We are talking about 90% of startups here that end up with failure.
So we have to pay enough attention not only in our idea and development peroid but parallely giving efforts on raising funds by being visible enough to investors.
Therefore we attend to most of the well known events in Europe to be able to explain our business concept and idea to investors.
Our founder Mr. Hakan Yedier will be attending to Scale Up for Europe event that will be held in Porto, Portugal between 25-28 May, 2016.

We were funded by European Commission grant funding programme, SME Instrument Phase1, that has started on first of March 2016 with a duration of 6 months. This 6 months of work will be the fundamental of Phase2 application as well.
We are working hard to be one of the very few grantees of Phase2 of SME Instrument. Phase2 grantees can be co-funded by European Commission up to 2.5 million EUR. Horizon 2020 grant funding programme is the largest in the world with its 80 billion EUR fund at hand.

The INFARM is part of a pilot project at the METRO Cash & Carry wholesale store in the Berlin district of Friedrichshain. Recently-opened vertical farms from the likes of FarmedHere and AeroFarms allow produce to be grown more efficiently, transported shorter distances and arrive fresher in stores. A vertical farm in METRO Cash&Carry Store is named as "Kräuter Garten". It is part of a pilot project that will provide insight into the performance and feasibility of the product.

One of our main objective is to run a field test with real end-users.
We plan to gather as much end-user feedback as possible to be able to increase their buying experiences. Our team is working hard to have the first prototype in the market very soon.
We name this very first prototype Version01. This version will only be offering single type laundry detergent.

Mr. Moedas is head of Research, Science and Innovation grant funding programmes of European Commission Horizon 2020.
With its 80 billion EUR funding pool, it is the biggest funding proggramme in the world. Thus it is the most competitive as well. Only 5% of total applicants are being able to be funded.
And we are happy to be one of the grantee with our current R&D project.
Mr. Moedas and SME Intrument Champions gathered for a meeting event in Germany, Hannover.
A nice picture of our founder Mr. Yedier and Commissioner Mr. Moedas from that event.

We were invited to a pitching session at Hannover Messe German Startups Association booth. It was an interesting experience to pitch here while most of the pitching startup companies were from software and on-line business platforms. We were the only company developing something tangible :)
We see this as a positive feedback while most of the attentions are all around on-line world nowadays.
